Traces

curated by Marina Dacci

We are delighted to share our upcoming project, curated by Marina Dacci, in collaboration with the Medieval Civic Museum of Bologna and joined by ART CITY Segnala 2020 on the occasion of Arte Fiera.
The group show Traces features the works of seven artists – Ibrahim Ahmed, Evgeny Antufiev, Silvia Camporesi, Kaarina Kaikkonen, Giovanni Kronenberg, Beatrice Pediconi, Nazzarena Poli Maramotti – directly represented by the gallery and joined together by the curator Marina Dacci in order to explore the theme of the trace in several directions: architectural-naturalistic, historical, social and relational.
The works of the invited artists are anchored to the cabinets and laid-out collections of Medieval and Renaissance artifacts in the museum rooms, to fragments and relics of ancient walls, to lapidaries and sarcophagi, with an approach based on assonance or visual steering.
