z2o Sara Zanin is pleased to announce the participation of Fabrizio Prevedello in the IMBOSCATA 2025 project, now in its third edition. Conceived in 2021 by artists Shilha Cintelli, Rachel Morellet, Eva Sauer, and Enrico Vezzi, the initiative invites other artists to engage with the reality of the forest, both as an ecosystem and as a paradigm.
Participating artists are invited to create a site-specific work that resonates with the unique characteristics of the forest and reflects an awareness of working outside the urban spaces typically associated with Art. This is a contemporary art exhibition set in a forest, adopting alternative approaches to the conventional frameworks of environmental art exhibitions. Its aim is twofold: to offer the audience a different kind of experience, and to grant invited artists full freedom to experiment.
The exhibition is designed to "ambush" the viewer, placing artworks in unexpected situations that interact with the natural setting. It aspires to promote a new way of experiencing both contemporary art and the woodland environment, and to raise awareness—across all age groups—of the importance of a respectful, ecological, and holistic relationship between art, humans, and nature.
The project is organized in collaboration with the Francigena Galleno Committee Association and the Mi Chiamo Viscardo Association, with the patronage and support of the Municipality of Fucecchio, and the support of Unicoop Firenze – Fucecchio Members Section and Regione Toscana Toscanaincontemporanea2025.
