z2o Sara Zanin is pleased to announce a conversation featuring Fabrizio Prevedello in dialogue with Antonio Grulli, Francesca Cattoi, Maurizio Cozzani, and Gabriele Tosi and the inauguration of a new installation in the museum store at CAMeC.
How do art and landscape engage in dialogue?
As part of CAMeC’s traditional Friday event, artist Fabrizio Prevedello will explore this theme together with CAMeC partnership director Antonio Grulli, art historian Francesca Cattoi (who curated his exhibition at CAMeC in 2014), collector Maurizio Cozzani, and curator Gabriele Tosi.
At the center of the conversation will be Villa Bianca, the catalogue documenting the seven sculptures Prevedello created for the residence of collectors Giorgia Maggiani and Maurizio Cozzani in Coregna, in the hills above La Spezia.
The volume – featuring photographs by Davide Marcesini and Leonardo Morfini, and texts by Grulli and Tosi – presents a site-specific project in which the works engage in a silent yet powerful dialogue with the landscape, in the spirit of land art.
Following the talk, Prevedello will inaugurate an installation in the museum store, transforming the space into a true project room.
The works created for Villa Bianca will be part of the CAMeC off project and will remain visible from the public road.
Further details will be shared during the evening.
The event – promoted by the Friends of CAMeC – is free to attend, subject to availability.
As on every first Friday of the month, the museum will remain open until 10 PM.
