z2o Sara Zanin is pleased to announce the participation of Beatrice Pediconi’s video Untitled in the event Il racconto dell’acqua.
Il racconto dell’acqua is a project selected through the public call Artes et Iubilaeum – 2025, curated by Adriana Polveroni and conceived and organized by the association Ciel’in Città. The initiative aims to explore the symbolic, cultural, and environmental value of water through artistic languages, participatory practices, and interventions in various neighborhoods of Rome.
The program includes a series of events, artworks, and activities involving artists, students, local communities, and pilgrims, in the lead-up to the 2025 Jubilee. Events will take place between September and November 2025 and will all be free of charge.
Water is the central theme of the entire project, approached from a dual perspective: as a founding element of Rome’s history and a source of inspiration for the artistic imagination; and as a precious natural resource, increasingly central to contemporary reflections on unity, sharing, and sustainability.
Based on these premises, the project identifies as its primary intervention site an aqueduct and its surrounding areas – including green spaces, symbolic sites, and both public and private contexts – in the southeastern part of the city.
