Fabrizio Prevedello & Michele Tocca | Vita minore. San Francesco e la santità dell'arte contemporanea

Group exhibition curated by Gianni Garrera and Giuseppe Garrera
z2o Sara Zanin is pleased to announce the participation of Fabrizio Prevedello and Michele Tocca in the group exhibition Vita minore. San Francesco e la santità dell’arte contemporanea, curated by Gianni Garrera and Giuseppe Garrera, at Palazzo Collicola in Spoleto, opening on Saturday, February 21, from 11:00 am.

The exhibition project offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the figure of Saint Francis, marking the eighth centenary of the Saint’s death, whose life and legacy are deeply connected to the Umbrian territory and the city of Spoleto. The show retraces the radical and seemingly impracticable example of Saint Francis — his adventure and spiritual journey — through luminous fragments that can be traced in contemporary artworks created by historically established artists and by figures from subsequent generations, including Gino De Dominicis, Tomás Saraceno, Elisa Montessori, and Jimmie Durham.
