Kaarina Kaikkonen

2014

Kaarina Kaikkonen (born 1952) is particularly known for her installations of used clothing, which she has constructed in public locations around the world. Kaikkonen does not hesitate to raise questions of human rights, migration, growing to womanhood or the difficulties of the human condition. Despite their strong themes, Kaikkonen’s works are human, crystallising humanity and the life in which they have been involved. The book is published in association with Galerie Forsblom.
