We are pleased to announce the participation of Alfredo Pirri and Marta Roberti in the project Le Divisament dou Monde: Italian Drawings on the Far East, the new exhibition by Fondazione Garuzzo.
From Italy to China—just like the journeys that made Marco Polo famous in the 13th century the new exhibition by Fondazione Garuzzo, arrives at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, organized to mark the 700th anniversary of the great Venetian explorer’s death.
Conceived to celebrate Marco Polo’s travels and cultural legacy through the immediate, intimate, and universal language of drawing, the exhibition will open on May 8, 2025, at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, one of the most important and dynamic cultural institutions in the Chinese art scene. Curated by Angela Tecce, the exhibition is realized in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Embassy in Beijing.
